The BRFC Annual Meeting and Field Day at the Minick Farm was held Sunday July 20th.  it was attended by 36 people and included a State of the Co-op presentation, a presentation on carbon sequestration credits, refreshments provided by everyone, and an overview of the wide variety of objectives and practices going on at the Minicks.

We toured the site to look at plantings in Power line Right-of-Ways and abandonded pastures.  We looked at TSI, both in-progress and planned, and we saw the Poplar and hickory bark baskets the Minicks make and sell.

As soon as the author figures out better how to use this site, pictures will be posted!  In the meantime feel free to call or write for more infomation.

Harry -

We want pictures!

Simply hit "reply" to your initial post, or do a new post; when the window opens to write the message, look at the bottom left of the field that you type in for the "Additional Options" button. Click this and you will see the upload field that I'm sure you are familiar with. Simply click browse, find a picture, and click OK or Open. To attach another picture, click "more attachments" to the right of the upload field. I have attached a picture in this manner in this post to demonstrate. Simply click on the picture I have attached at the bottom of this post (must be logged in).
